The valley was discovered accidentally by a buggy party in 1931, returning from a passage to Mount Kamet. Frank Smythe, Eric Shipton, and RL Hold worth were part of this platoon. In 1980, the Valley of Flowers was declared public property. In 2000, the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve added it as an alternative core zone. . There are about 500 kinds of flowers that were installed then, and some of them have medicinal packets. Since several factory species are considered fluttering, no grazing animals are allowed in this region. During the trip, you will be able to visit the honorary grave of Joan Margaret. The visit to Hemkund Sahib, i.e., the highest religious place covered in the daily, is delicate but satisfying, and if you want to have a redundant day, then you can visit Badrinath or explore

Rishikesh, on Your Last Day.

There are well-pronounced paths and a series of marked paths in some of the sections of the route. Mules are available from Govindghat to Ghangaria and Hemkund Sahib, but they are not allowed to enter the main valley. You shouldn’t expect a luxurious stay during the trip, there are no campsites on this trip, and introductory accommodations are provided where you can expect a bit of a percolating odor.

There are high chances of falling during the travel days. Also, keep a free day in your schedule, as there may be roadblocks due to rain. It is an easy-to-moderate trek that offers exceptional access to the Uttarakhand Himalayas, which has a valley covered in flowers. It is also considered an ideal trip for first-timers, including family members and children. One also can visit the highest pass position of Hemkund Sahib.

The valley is about 2 km wide and 8 km long, and the best time to visit is between July and mid-September. The temperature on this trip is generally kept between 5 and 20 degrees Celsius. And you can anticipate a moderate drop during the ride, and the valley generally has a thick cover. The trickiest part of the trip is the climb up Hemkund Sahib on the last day, where we cover an altitude of about 300ft in one day, and that can be a bit empathetic.
